Thank you for using JJ!
These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your access to and use of JJ, JJ Assistant, our candidate vetting engine, ATS sync modules, and associated software applications and websites (collectively, "Services"). These Terms form a binding agreement between you and JJ Technologies Inc., and include important provisions for resolving disputes through arbitration. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, encrypt, and handle personal candidate data and workspace telemetry. Although it does not form part of these Terms, it is an important document that you should read.

Corporate Authority: If you accept these Terms on behalf of an agency, company, or legal entity, you represent and warrant that you possess full legal authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Using Our Services
Permitted Use: Subject to compliance with these Terms, JJ grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our candidate screening platform solely for internal recruitment, talent pool evaluation, and workforce planning.
Restrictions: You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of JJ’s scoring algorithms or API endpoints.
- Exceed stated ingestion limits (e.g., 100 manual resume files per job intake session unless utilizing Spott ATS sync).
- Scrape, mine, or extract candidate data or platform outputs for building competitive recruitment AI models.
- Bypass or attempt to exploit Supabase Row-Level Security (RLS) policies or workspace isolation boundaries.
3. ATS Integrations & Third-Party Endpoints
JJ provides integration bridges to Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) including Spott, Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, and over 50 third-party platforms via Merge Unified APIs.
- Authorization: You represent that you own or possess valid license rights and candidate consent to pull data from your connected ATS endpoints.
- Credential Encryption: API keys and OAuth tokens stored in the `workspaces` table are encrypted at rest via AES-256 standards.
- Third-Party Rate Limits: JJ is not responsible for data fetch delays, API downtime, or rate-limiting enforced by external ATS platforms.
4. AI Candidate Screening & Compliance Disclaimer
JJ utilizes automated parsing and AI evaluation models to generate candidate match scores, strength summaries, and Top-N candidate slates.
Customer Responsibility: JJ is an automated support tool designed to assist human recruiters. The final decision to hire, reject, or interview a candidate rests solely with the Customer.
Labor Law Compliance: Customer is exclusively responsible for ensuring all hiring criteria, job descriptions, and employment decisions comply with regional employment laws, EEOC mandates, GDPR guidelines, and local anti-discrimination legislation.
5. Fees, Subscriptions, and Billing
Subscriptions: JJ Services are billed on a recurring monthly or discounted annual cycle. Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled prior to your billing anchor date.
Refund Policy: All subscription fees and usage charges are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or explicit enterprise SLA agreements.
